Annual Inspection

During inspection our maintenance team will fulfill all items required by FAR standards. Our facility will have the plane inspected by our IA Technician (Inspector Authorization). After inspection, customers receive a list of items with images depicting any discrepancies that were found during inspection.

Unscheduled Maintenance

Have you ever broke down at an airport where there is limited maintenance and the maintenance shop says it will be a few days or weeks before they can get to it. Import and Export

At Wayne’s aircraft Maintenance we can help you with importing your plane into the country or if you’re trying to export it. With importing we will help you with all the required paperwork and make sure the plane is ready for inspection by a DAR. We can also help get your new registration number painted on the plane.

Rotax Certified

Wayne’s Aircraft Maintenance is a Rotax Certified shop, performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all Rotax 9 series engines. Our shop also specializes in all light-sport and experimental aircrafts. We have our own independent Rotax Maintenance Technician (iRMT), which allows us the flexibility to assist our clients in ways other companies cannot.

Wayne’s Aircraft Maintenance has an experienced staff including: qualified A&P technicians, skilled sheet metal repair technicians and FAA Inspection Authorization (I.A.). We also have an avionics, paint and interior shop on the field. We are able to fulfill all your aircraft maintenance needs.

With more than 30 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, Wayne’s Aircraft Maintenance has acquired recognition in the industry for its quality of service and professional attitude. Our experienced technicians are knowledgeable in the care and maintenance of Piston and Turbine aircraft. With over 10,000sqft of hangar space our staff of mechanics can handle anything from performing routine scheduled maintenance to solving difficult technical issues.

Wayne Cappe

CEO

Mr. Wayne Cappe, a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Technology, leads the day to day operations of Wayne’s Aircraft Maintenance. A commercial multi-engine pilot himself, Mr. Cappe understands the needs of his customers and — alongside his well trained staff — provides high-quality, professional service. He has over 35 years experience, has maintained an excellent reputation, and is well known through-out the industry.

Luis Luisis

Director of Maintenance

Mr. Luisis has extensive experience in a wide variety of piston and turbine aircraft maintenance, and used to work for the airlines on MD-11 and B-767-300ER maintenance, with ETOPS qualifications.

Cory Cappe

Director of operations

Mr. Cory Cappe has been in the aviation industry for a large portion of his life. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Central Florida. Cory went on to attain his A&P certification in 2015. He has extensive experience working on a range of aircrafts, from small piston planes to Turboprops. Cory has been a driving force in the development and expansion of Wayne’s Aircraft Maintenance.
